Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing and general wellness.  It is administered by “laying on hands” by a trained and attuned practitioner.  Reiki is based on the Eastern idea that an unseen Universal (“Rei”) Life Force Energy (“Ki” or “Qi”) flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.  Qi is also what determines our state of health.  If a person’s Qi is too low, too high, imbalanced or stagnant then she is more likely to get sick or feel stress, but if her energy is at the proper level, is balanced and is moving freely she will enjoy good health and happiness.

Essential Balance Holistic Wellness Center offers Reiki Energy therapy as well as Integrated Massage with Reiki.  We also offer classes for training and certification in each of the three degrees of the Usui System of Reiki Healing.
